But the English team played like whimps. I think there are member countries of the ICC who are very anti-Stanford because he is/was American and was able to do in a few years what they(ICC members) have not been able to do for a lifetime - inject new life into the game. The English even used the lap-sitting incident as one of the excuses for their abysmal performance, almost as if people were forced to sit and wave on other people's laps. The Stanford Superstars were picked by the Stanford selection committee and thankfully not by the WICB. They trained like no other WI team ever trained and this focus and talent stumped England way out their crease. The Stanford Superstars aka the West Indies is awesome atm.
